elumatec AG withdraws from trade fair

elumatec AG has decided to withdraw from the Fensterbau Frontale trade fair, which has been postponed until July by the organisers.

“After careful consideration, it is no longer feasible for us to have a trade fair presence this year”, said Chris Nicholls, Chief Sales Officer at elumatec AG.

"On the one hand, the protection of our employees and our customers has top priority. On the other hand, we - like probably many other companies - rely on other European and international countries for 80% of our core business, and this target market is either at least reluctant to attend trade fairs given the uncertainty of the overall situation or has already withdrawn.

The further development of the pandemic will continue to be highly volatile in the coming weeks, planning certainty might continue to decrease.

Under the above-mentioned circumstances, the fair will therefore not be able to provide the usual quality and the desired added value as a meeting place for the industry, which our customers, visitors and we ourselves expect and demand".

Until major trade fairs can be held again on the usual scale, elumatec AG – in coordination with Voilàp Holding, the Italian parent company to which the mechanical engineering company belongs – is focusing its efforts on planning the new Centre of Excellence at its Lomersheim site in Germany. In future, elumatec AG will also be able to showcase new products in its own state-of-the-art exhibition and training centres.

“For us, this fair is and remains an important hub for the industry. We would have loved to showcase our latest developments in Nuremberg, and we were looking forward to welcoming our customers in person to the elumatec stand,” said Paolo Bianchi, CEO of elumatec AG.
