elumatec AG officially recognised by the Baden-Württemberg Interior Ministry as a volunteer-friendly employer.

Mühlacker/Stuttgart. The State of Baden-Württemberg is keen to recognise and promote employer-supported volunteering, and every year the State Interior Minister presents an award for volunteer-friendly employers who provide outstanding support for staff volunteering in civil protection.

The award is given for a period of five years.

It is a great honour for elumatec AG to receive this year's award on the recommendation of the town of Mühlacker from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior, Digitalisation and Migration. Deputy Minister-President Thomas Strobl presented Markus Börschig, Head of HR and authorised officer at elumatec, with the certificate in a ceremony on 5 September. More than 15 elumatec employees engage in voluntary work, in particular with the Mühlacker voluntary fire service, and this would not be possible without the company's support and flexibility as deployment means availability at short notice during working hours. "Our employees have a great deal of responsibility at elumatec. Trust, respect and commitment are key values that shape how we work as a company, and that does not stop at the company gates. We are therefore delighted to support our staff who display these values outside our premises, who are also outstanding ambassadors for our company", said Ralf Haspel, elumatec CEO.
